Rose Technologies was founded in 1994 with the goal of developing engaging CD-ROM based, multimedia products for children. With some success in multimedia technology, Rose Technologies expanded its research to include embedded systems as well as Internet and Computer Telephony Integration (CTI). In 1999, Rose Technologies began developing an embedded system application called the Diabetes HouseCall System. At the same time, Rose Technologies introduced a TAPI standard based, intelligent telephone system for small and medium business usage. The development of the Diabetes HouseCall System led to the creation of the Diabetes HomeCare Center. The HomeCare Center application is based solely on the Internet while the Diabetes HouseCall System requires the use of hand-held devices and a CTI system. Currently, we are developing an adapter/transmitter that will complement users of the HomeCare Center by transmitting data from a blood glucose meter to the Diabetes HomeCare Center. The Diabetes HomeCare Center and Diabetes HouseCall System are solely operated and funded by Rose Technologies and have been developed under the guidance of our Medical Advisory Board.
